The ruby slippers!

Siamo giunti alla fine dell'anno, fra poche ore entreremo nel 2013...
e stasera che stiate a casa, andiate a ballare o siate in vacanza indossare qualcosa di rosso è d'obbligo! 
E per me ho deciso che saranno le scarpe! Adoro il mago di Oz e cosa c'è di più bello delle sue scarpette di rubino? Nulla! 
Quindi seguendo il tutorial che trovate qui ho trasformato un vecchio paio di décolleté nelle scarpe di Dorothy e sono fantastiche!

Here we are at the end of the year, just a few hours and we'll enter in 2013...
and tonight if you stay home, if you go dancing or if you're on holiday you have to wear something red!
For me I decided it will be my shoes! I love the wizard of Oz since I was a child and what's mora amazing than her ruby slippers? Nothing! 
So following this tutorial I transformed my old heels in Dorothy's shoes and they're wonderful!

DIY mega cuscino / DIY big pillow

Ciao a tutti, è passato anche il Natale ma c'è ancora da festeggiare!

Ho finito di consegnare tutti i regali e ora finalmente posso mostrarvi il regalo che ho realizzato per il mio fidanzato.

Si tratta di un grande cuscino double-face (inverno-estate) per il suo letto. 

Lo schienale originale è un po' difettoso e quando guardiamo dei film non si riesce a stare comodi... così ho cercato di risolvere il problema...

La realizzazione è molto facile ma il risultato a mio parere è di impatto. Ho semplicemente creato una fodera della misura giusta per il letto, utilizzando due stoffe diverse, entrambe comprate da IKEA.

Ho scelto di personalizzare un po' l'oggetto aggiungendo delle silhouette in panno lenci (cervo per l'inverno, gatto per l'estate perché amo questi animali!).

Hi everybody, Xmas is done but we haven't finished celebrating!

Finally I'm done with the delivery of my gifts and now I can show you the DIY gift I made for my boyfriend.

It's a big double-face pillow (winter-summer) for his bed.

The headboard of the bed is quite defective and when we see film it's impossible to feel comfortable... so I tried to solve the problem...

The production process is very easy but I think the final result is very effective.

I simply created a pillow case of the measurement needed, using two different fabrics, both bought from IKEA.

Then I decided to personalize the case a little bit so I sewed four felt silhouettes  (deer for winter, cat for summer, 'cause I love these animals!).
